Richard Walters a.k.a. Brick, a superhuman made of living mud, is playing with his adolescent children Shandi and Troy when their home, the sprawling high-tech base Skull Mountain, is attacked by evil Blood-Bots, agents of the Doom’s Corporation. After dispersing Brick’s form with gunblasts, the cyborgs move onto attacking his teammates Kate McLellan a.k.a. the fire-wielding Burn and Jason Vanderveer a.k.a. the ghost-like Slyder. Both defeat their attackers, but Burn flees for fear of losing control of her powers.
