Book - 1951 - Far and Wide - By Douglas Reed
Pre-Owned. Copyright 1951
Publisher: Jonathan Cape British Copy
Very scarce. The first edition of the work. Douglas Reed was a British journalist, playwright, novelist and author who wrote extensively regarding his views relating to political history. Whilst this work is perhaps the most scarce of the author's catalogue, it is perhaps the most controversial and was responsible for his banning from most established publishers and his previous works removed from library shelves. The work describes his belief that there exists a 'world government' and the perceived controlling forces behind it. A very scarce example of a highly controversial work regarding the political and historical views of British journalist, Douglas Reed
